2006-12-28Configuration changes:Aaron Griffin
* Added libdownload check in configure.ac * Added generation for mirrorlists in pacman.d NOTE: autoconf sucks for things like this, so gen-mirrorlist is required Dan McGee <dpmcgee@gmail.com>: * mirrorlist.in file Roman Kyrylych <roman.kyrylych@gmail.com>: * ukrainian mirror Jürgen Hötzel <juergen@hoetzel.info>: * conditional build for pacman.static
2006-12-22Modified front end output routines to accept a "padding' setting, which pads anyAaron Griffin
statement with ' ' until the size of the terminal. The rationale is that, when a log message is emitted during progress bar display, the terminal is artifacted. This prevents that messiness.
2006-12-14* Dan McGee's makepkg updates ↵Aaron Griffin
http://www.archlinux.org/pipermail/pacman-dev/2006-December/000792.html * configure fixes (CFLAGS) * no-strict-aliasing hacks until full C99 compliance * --with-config-file configure option
2006-12-08A few minor updates so --root works again.Aaron Griffin
2006-12-08Removed an extra call to alpm_option_set_root() - it is set by alpm_init()Aaron Griffin

2006-11-27* cosmetic: double space in "full system upgrade"Aaron Griffin
2006-11-23* Move sync *after* transaction init (lock file). We don't want to stomp on theAaron Griffin
databases while another instance of pacman /could/ be reading them.
2006-11-23-std=c99 seems to undefine PATH_MAX in this case. I don't care enough to fix itAaron Griffin
at the moment, so this workaround works.

2006-11-22Removed global maxcols - it is looked up on the fly now, so the progress bar isAaron Griffin
resized. Also used ioctl in place of the COLUMNS env variable
2006-11-22* Fixed a double free which happened in 2 cases in --syncAaron Griffin
2006-11-20libalpm appends the trailing / to the config root, no need to do it hereAaron Griffin
2006-11-20* repo-add script - to add entries to a db file directly from package data ↵Aaron Griffin

2006-11-16* makepkg.conf.in variable changes (missed the checkin)Aaron Griffin
* Better error reporting when unpacking an archive fails * Fixed -Sc and -Scc cache dir opening/reading
2006-11-15* Initial changes to gensync - makepkg changes were not checked in from anotherAaron Griffin
machine - still pending * Addition of _alpm_pkg_makefilename to simplify the with/without -ARCH prefix scheme we're going with for the interim
2006-11-14* has_archname additionsAaron Griffin
* additional newline for search output, as suggested on the forums
2006-11-14* autotool fixesAaron Griffin

2006-11-14* Numerous mini valgrind fixes.Aaron Griffin
* Addition of hacky architecture check in the _splitname function * Removal of libfetch from the archlinux proper - it has been renamed to libdownload and can be found at http://phraktured.net/libdownload * Merge of _some_ of the Frugalware makepkg change - this may still be incomplete * Removal of libftp from cvs proper * PKGBUILD manpage now says 'PKGBUILD' instead of FrugalBuild (he he)

2006-11-09Whoops - I fail at setenvAaron Griffin
2006-11-09mcheck() seems to cause segfaults. Annoying. Switched back to useing ↵Aaron Griffin
mtrace() - if anything valgrind is superior to mcheck anyway
2006-11-08* Improved mcheck outputAaron Griffin
* Added minor libalpm const correctness * Mini-memory fixes
2006-11-07Added mcheck support for memory debuggingAaron Griffin
2006-11-03* Modified some error output and loggingAaron Griffin
* Changed the initial log mask (added PM_LOG_ERROR) * Fixed -Syu so it now works if any databases were downloaded (it was working like a -Su)
2006-11-02* Fixed some alpm_get_option calls (long params were used for C99 compliance,Aaron Griffin
but were used in error) * Cleaned up some output newlines * Added "local database is up to date" when no packages are upgraded
2006-11-01Added a newline upong progress completion - this was accidentally left out ↵Aaron Griffin

2006-10-20A handful of minor changes:Aaron Griffin
* Removed the PMList typedef, in favor of the same naming scheme other structs use 'pmlist_t' * Added a time stamp on debug output, to make it more informational * Moved alpm_db_register to _alpm_db_register, making the public function not take a callback parameter
2006-10-19From VMiklos <vmiklos@frugalware.org>Aaron Griffin
* alpm_db_update() fix up the level parameter till now when it was "1", it meant false, which was not in sync with the C logic :)
